UI and UX is all around us in our technology soaked lives.

We know when it's good and we really notice when it is bad. We have become quite sophisticated in the nuances, meaning of slight movements, actions and responses.

If we leap to a VERY high end sophistication and complexity - like the cockpit of a space craft - we can see clearly some evolutionary steps over 60 years.

• Pre digital was Analogue & Electro-Mechanical.
• The transitional era was a blend of the the two paradigms - small screens starting to squeeze their way in.
• Current DIGITAL is the dominant paradigm - sophisticated GUI on large and sophisticated "Glass Rectangles".

Hi Complexity requires extreme organization of shifting priorities and increasingly - technology is allowing us to better manage how we see and understand complexity.
