Human Connectome Project.

The Human Connectome Projectv is about reverse engineering the brain to build a "network map" (connectome) of fibre pathways. This project has involved a range of methods including taking microscopic slices of a mouse's brain to follow fibre pathways, to using advanced MRI methods. The goal of the project is shed light on the functional connectivity within the healthy human brain, And understand the role of genes and environment in shaping brain circuitry.
