Global business value derived from artificial intelligence (AI) is projected to total $1.2 trillion in 2018, an increase of 70 percent from 2017, according to Gartner, Inc. AI-derived business value is forecast to reach $3.9 trillion in 2022 . Yet, to many people, AI is the domain of only very bright people with well-developed maths and computer science skills. But to take advantage of AI, leaders need to understand how to frame AI within their organisation and guide its implementation and use.

The aim of this course is to break down the complexities behind AI, make it accessible, and enable leaders to govern AI – regardless of their background.

This course will provide guidance for how to develop AI capacity across an organisation. It will explain the capabilities of AI, with examples of how it’s being used by forward thinking organisations. It will explore what leaders need to do to start their AI journey and how they can get the most out of this exceptionally disruptive technology. The course funnels thinking towards creating a practical, usable AI plan – something that leaders can use immediately.

Mike started his career in automotive engineering, spent 10 years teaching and at Secondary and University levels, then worked at Microsoft for 13 years before founding his current business. His experience spans the full spectrum of technology - from AI to Zero Emissions solutions.
